What are Wegovy tablets?

The tablet form delivers the same mechanism as the injection through a daily dose instead of a weekly one.

Who is eligible?

The criteria are the same as for injectable Wegovy: a BMI of 30 or above, or 27.5 and above with a weight-related health condition such as type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, or sleep apnoea. You must be over 18 and not pregnant. Some medical histories rule the treatment out, including pancreatitis and certain thyroid conditions, so every patient has a full clinical assessment with our prescribing pharmacist before any medicine is supplied.
