Who we are

Brampton Village Pharmacy is a community pharmacy located at 63-65 Knollbeck Lane, Brampton, Rotherham, S73 0TW. We are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and operate as an NHS and private healthcare provider.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the data controller for personal information we collect about our patients and customers.

What information we collect

We may collect and process the following categories of personal information:

  • NHS systems (including the NHS Spine, EPS, and Summary Care Record) as required for prescription management
  • Our email service provider (Resend) for processing contact form submissions — no health data is transmitted via this channel
  • Regulatory bodies (GPhC, CQC, NHS England) if required by law

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

Data retention

We retain patient records in line with NHS Records Management Code of Practice requirements. Clinical records are retained for a minimum of 8 years from the last entry (or until age 25 for children's records). Contact enquiry data is retained for 2 years. You may request deletion of non-clinical data at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data (Subject Access Request)
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of data we are not legally required to retain
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Withdraw consent at any time (where consent is the legal basis)
