Walk In or Book
Visit us during opening hours or book a time that suits you. Booking is recommended in the autumn when we co-run flu and COVID clinics, so we can vaccinate you against both in one visit.
Quick Vaccination
A short health check, then the vaccination itself — under 2 minutes. You'll be asked to wait briefly afterwards for observation, then you're free to go.
Record & Aftercare
Your vaccination is recorded on the national system and shared with your GP. The pharmacist will talk you through common, mild after-effects and what to do in the unlikely event you feel unwell.

NHS seasonal campaigns and who they cover
The NHS no longer offers COVID-19 vaccination to everyone. Instead, it runs two seasonal campaigns — one in spring and one in autumn — aimed at the people most likely to become seriously ill. The eligible groups are set nationally before each campaign and have recently centred on older adults, residents in care homes for older people, and people with weakened immune systems. Because the criteria are reviewed each season, the safest way to know where you stand is to ask us or check the NHS website when a campaign opens.
If you are eligible, vaccination at Brampton Village Pharmacy is free, and you do not need to wait for a letter or a GP appointment. During the autumn campaign we co-run flu and COVID-19 clinics, so most eligible patients have both vaccinations in a single visit — one in each arm, as recommended by the NHS.
Autumn slots fill quickly in October and November. Book early and ask for the combined flu + COVID appointment if you're eligible for both.
Private COVID-19 vaccination, all year round
Plenty of people who want COVID-19 protection no longer qualify for an NHS jab: younger adults, people who live or work with someone vulnerable, and travellers heading to countries or events where recent vaccination gives peace of mind. Our private COVID-19 vaccination covers exactly this group. It is available year-round, costs £99, and needs no GP referral — walk in or book online.
Every private vaccination starts with a short suitability check by the pharmacist, covering your health history and any previous COVID-19 vaccinations, so the timing and choice of vaccine are right for you.
