Brampton Village Pharmacy

Accessibility Statement

We want everyone to be able to use this website.

Our commitment

Brampton Village Pharmacy wants this website to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever their device, connection, or abilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we've done

  • The site works with a keyboard: menus, accordions, and forms can be operated without a mouse, with visible focus indicators
  • Animations and page transitions are switched off automatically for anyone whose device is set to reduce motion
  • Text can be resized in your browser without breaking the layout, and the site works at mobile, tablet, and desktop sizes
  • Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers
  • Colour is never the only way information is conveyed, and we check text contrast against WCAG AA
  • Pages have a logical heading structure and descriptive titles

Known limitations

  • Our online booking calendar is provided by Cal.com, and our maps by Google. We don't control the accessibility of these embedded services. If you can't use them, call us on 01226 341 281 and we'll book you in or give directions by phone.
  • Some older blog images may have less descriptive alternative text. We fix these as we find them.
